New to ways to help raise money for MYF using Ebay (that won’t cost you a DIME!)

Option 1

Got something to Ebay? This will donate a portion of the item you list to MYF:

1) Visit Make Yourself Foundation’s dedicated page on eBay

2) Click on the Sell tab – Make Yourself Foundation will automatically appear as the beneficiary of your listing

3) Designate the percentage you want to donate in the “Choose How You’d Like to Sell Your Item” section

4) Complete your listing

5) Let the bidding begin!

Option 2

The folks over at Ebay just introduced a pretty cool new feature called “My Favorite Non-profit.”

The basic idea is this:

You know how when you’re shopping online when you click on ‘shopping cart’ you’re prompted if you want to add additional items to your basket? Same idea here, except fans/users get to make a donation to their favorite non-profit ($1, $5…whatever). We at MYF think that’s pretty cool and pretty forward thinking. And very soon you’ll see a little video of Brandon on Ebay.com talking about MYF.

So how do YOU hook it up? Do the following (I already
tested this out on my personal account on Ebay):

1) Log in to Ebay

2)Click on the “Account” tab (next to “Messages” and “Activity”)

3)Click on “Donation Account” down the left side of your screen

4)Under “My Preferences” on the left side of the screen click “normal"">My Favorite Nonprofits”

5)In the search field type in “Make Yourself Foundation”

6)When MYF comes up click the blue “Save as Favorite” button

Now every time you buy an item on Ebay.com you’ll have the option to donate a dollar or more.
Anybody on Ebay.com can donate to MYF this way.
