This summer, Incubus front man Brandon Boyd teamed up with TOMS Shoes for the Collaborative Canvas Project. Together, Boyd and friend, model/artist Kristin Jai Klosterman, created unique works of art on massive canvases, that were then cut in pieces to create 100 limited-edition pairs of TOMS shoes. Boyd and Klosterman each painted an individual canvas and collaborated on the third.

Brandon and Ben were on hand to accept the "Keepers of the Coast" award from the Surfrider Foundation's Awards ceremony this past weekend. Mark Hoppus from Blink 182 was the host.



Special appearances came from Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro under the band moniker "Camp Freddy." They busted out some old school Jane's Addiction tunes and the crowd ate it up!

Brandon has teamed up with TOMS Shoes as part of their Collaborative Canvas Collection. Before he left for Incubus' summer tour, he worked on a massive canvas which was later made into shoes. These shoes are a limited edition run and will be sold at Undefeated store in Silverlake, California.

Today is my birthday!! In celebration I am going to donate 9 dollars to the Make Yourself Foundation (actually, I guess I have to donate 10, which is even better > more money for the cause!). I was thinking of what I wanted to do to bring in my days of being 19. I decided on listening to Incubus and donating to help others.
