It's almost EARTH DAY!! And this is the perfect time for this article from Brandon.
From Huffington Post
I don't remember a time in my 35 years aboard Earth when there was as much going on as there seems to be going on today. ('Today' as in the past couple of months or so.) Between quakes and tsunamis, unrest in the…
Hi all, Jake here. I recently met up with Brandon to record this video for you guys! As an added bonus for MYF'ers, I put together some B-ROLL for you guys. Click here to view the B-roll film of Brandon from the other day.
This summer, Incubus front man Brandon Boyd teamed up with TOMS Shoes for the Collaborative Canvas Project. On behalf of everyone in Incubus and the MYF, we are so thankful for this mention. I have always felt that in all surfer's there is an Environmentalist at some stage of fruition. Whether he knows it or not. He is tuned into the water, the weather, the tides and the wind. And with this awareness comes a very basic, very important responsibility to share what he knows. Thank you for all you do at the Surfrider Foundation and please keep up the good work!
Today is my birthday!! In celebration I am going to donate 9 dollars to the Make Yourself Foundation (actually, I guess I have to donate 10, which is even better > more money for the cause!). I was thinking of what I wanted to do to bring in my days of being 19. I decided on listening to Incubus and donating to help others. Hopefully I can meet Brandon Boyd and the rest of the amazing and inspiring Incubus members for my birthday!
