And I am totally against architecture, and before you judge me listen to my reasoning... I have a guitar teacher whom I met when he was about 20 or so. I listen to the likes of John Petrucci, Yngwie Malmsteen, Jason Becker, Joe Satriani, Jeff Loomis and many more of those insane shredders and still he - my guitar teacher Nick - is my ultimate favorite guitarist. And I would never say this lightly. He is the most amazing guitarist I have ever heard, and he is totally different to any other guitarist (although he can play anything they can.) Well anyway, when I first met him he was so determined on going overseas with his band and shredding for life... He is music, I wish you could see and hear him play. Anyway, then he moved in with his girlfriend and studies architecture because he does not think he can make it in the music industry anymore... I'd like to slam his fat head into a rock every time I speak with him about that! He is 28 now, and one of my best friends... But damn, to see so much talent waste away is really frustrating. And I'm not a person that shuts up - I remind him every forsaken week who he is, and what he wants - and that he must just do it. I wish he would just make his passion his work, and not work towards passion. Okay, so that's my 'flame up my arse' story for the week, I don't have many but that man p***** me off sometimes. But, as an old friend of mine said: "it's better to be pissed off, than to be pissed on..." Yes, wise words... Gotta love your friends. And with friends like mine, who needs enemies.

I have my preliminary examinations now and am nearly on to my finals. I am very exited:) Could you put some photo's of any art or something on your profile if you get any time? I would really dig to see it... Sorry about the long wall messages, I'm just filling up time..* :)

I'm really exited, am traveling the world at the end of this year/beginning of next year, and I can't wait to meet all the new people, taste all the different foods, experience new cultures and hopefully music. It will really help me to see life in a different light.

Anyway, yes the point of creating music is to express that which you feel the need to release into this world. For me, it's basically there to behold my sanity. My imagination drives me totally insane at times, if I did not have music/art/writing i'd either be in jail or in an insane asylum by now. (Not that there is a difference.) It must also really suck to be limited by your work to only draw that which is asked of you... At least you get to draw, and maybe an illustrator spots your work and digs it. You'll never know, one thing always tends to lead to another. The first step you take is always the longest.

Aanyways, I have got to run again. I've just finished polates (I swear, polates teachers are the Russian's secret torture weapons) and have to go swim now... Fanbloodytastic.
