About Me

This needs updating.....
I'm a bit of an odd ball to be honest (but then who isnt i guess?) I love both art and science equally. I paint and draw for pleasure. I love animals and being outdoors, I'm lucky that not far from where I live is a wetlands wildlife reserve filled with lots of interesting plants and animals. I volunteer for the RSPB (at Newport wetlands) and Gwent Wildlife Trust.

I've been vegetarian since i was 9. I have a 3 legged staffordshire bull-terrier called Gypsy and a tabby cat called Mortimer. I love meeting and learning about new people from all walks of life and cultures, I want to know what you're thinking, right now!
When I'm feeling down I remember all the little things in life that make me smile, like beetles! and the smell of rain on hot tarmac, tea in it's many different forms and flavours, people, the blood rushing around my body to keep me alive.

I love sci-fi and am a bit of a geek to be honest. I am a little geek proud.

I've recently given up drinking (i seem to love to find ways of alienating myself further from the 'norm'! :D)

I study Animal Biology and Conservation at Oxford Brookes University.

I feel a bit better.

I spoke to Lee the day before yesterday and it was good to hear from him. I was doing that age old thing of worrying that I'd done something to put him off over the weekend and that's why he hadn't called or replied to my txt. I was trying to talk myself out of the spiral of unsavoury stories going on in my head but I was slowly losing the battle...until he called on Thursday and all was well again.

feeling a bit pony tonight.

Its been a lush sunny day, i started work at 6am and finished at 12pm glad to get it out of the way! couldn't sleep at all last night though, I'm stressing about my uni work, so pointless stressing but I can barely help it.

I've found 2 four leaved clovers in 2 days!!! craziness. Something big is gonna happen lol. Doubtful.

So I've told Ben and Dan that it's not happening. Literally rang them both up one after the other and told them I wasn't ready to get into anything right now. They were both really cool about it.

Ben is willing to still be friends, but I think Dan is a little dubious to whether I will put the effort in, or maybe he doesn't want to be bothered to put the effort in for just friends. I don't know, doesn't really matter either way.
