Hi iliana!!

I think a good question to ask is what direction he sees the band going musically. Every album stands on its own as being truly unique, so it would be interesting to know what sort of influences he will be personally drawing from in crafting the next lovely song, the next heartfelt rhythm, the next inspiring album... :) Chris is really great-- I know you'll have a great time interviewing him!! Let us know how it goes!

Cheers

Wow I can't believe you get to interview Chris. That's amazing!!!

I just got back from a M&G over the weekend. It's my second one and I highly recommend it to everyone. It's true, the guys are all really down to earth and incredibly sweet. It's over and done with pretty fast so you really do have to be prepared with your words because if you're anything like me as soon as you set eyes on them you lose all your words :) The first time I met them I didn't say much else than I love their work and it was great to meet them. This second time I worked up the courage to be more talkative.

Mike was extremely happy looking. He gave me a HUGE smile when I walked up - shook my hand and asked how I was. I told him all the wonderful things I've been hearing about this 2009 Tour. And he seemed really happy to hear all those great things and thanked me for comming out to see them.

Next was Ben. He seemed a little less energized but I got him to smile when I mentioned his solo work and that I look forward to his next album. He says he has been actively working on that and continues more after this M&M tour. I told him I'd definately been picking that up and thanked him for being so great.

Next was Brandon which was wearing sunglasses indoors so I couldn't see his eyes and for me it's hard talking to someone when I can't see their eyes lol But he was most talkative with me. I told him all the great things I've been hearing lately on this tour. How his vocals are better than ever, etc. He seemed surprised to hear it cause he gave me this like "wow really?!?" Then we talked about his bike. I brought it up because I was around the arena like 2 hours before the show walking around and Brandon was just riding around on his bike. I concidered trying to get his attention but decided it's probably his down time to relax so thought against it and on top of that I sort of thought I was hallucinating lol But he was like "YEAH THAT WAS ME! White bike right?" and he told me he didn't see me and thanked me for comming.

Next was Chris. I told him he needs to come on tour with Ben to MIAMI. He gave me a really cute smile and sort of shrugged his shoulders and told me "Well hopefully Ben will invite me". And I told him he was awesome and that I really want to see him down here for a show sometime. And I wanted to talk more but Jose kind of reached over and grabbed my hand and was all like heeeeey I'm Jose. Not in a rude way but maybe I was holding up the line I don't know. lol So with Jose I asked how is baby was and he was like great. And I told him I was really exciting about the show and told him I heard it's been better than ever and he thanked me and since he was last I kinda got rushed along and then went over to stand by the banner thing for the pictures.

I was kind of in my own little bliss chatting it up with my friend waiting for the others to finish when suddenly Brandon is right kneeled down in front of me touching my leg and it freaked me out. He was checking out a tattoo I have on my foot and he asked me a few questions about it. Asked me if it hurt and stuff and I told him no and he told me he would think at that location it would because he says he's a baby. I told him how so if he has so many himself and he told me he is like ouch, ouch the whole time and then he asked if he could stand by my friend and I. And he stood behind my friend annnnnnnd...... basically click, click photos done and we have to go. On the way out I shook Chris' hand again and told him PLEASE COME TO MIAMI! and he laughed and that's the end.

They put on a great show it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to.

Oh and if I were to interview Chris I'd ask him if any ideas have already been set down for the next Incubus album. Like, I believe they are going to start on something next year right? So just wondering if they are tossing ideas around already and you know what kind of new stuff can we expect.. and you know, what his expectations are.

Anyway, those who haven't done the meet and greet. Do it! :)

hi rhiannon, if you scroll up to the top of this page or the home page, and look to the right, there's something that says "vip's click here for your concert pics" click on that and find the date you went and your group number

I would give everything I have (which isn't much unfotunately) to one day meet them. If there is ever some type of "contest" thru this organization where a person such as myself can enter, maybe submit poetry that the guys can go thru and read and give the gift of being near, talking to them-the group of people that assure me that what I feel is okay even tho some of it (life) sucks-and that there is someone real out there, PLEASE let me know.

Thank you from my soul and my heart both run deep

I went this past weekend. It was so awesome! I will never forget it. Although I'm sure meeting me was not nearly as memorable for them.... I'm probably about as shy as you described yourself so I didn't say too much. I was quite nervous. Waiting at will call and for the our turn to get into the meet and greet was excruciatingly nerve wracking so I think I could hardly keep still by the time I was in there. But just getting to shake their hands and then have the best tickets at the whole show made it so fantastic. I've seen them about 7 times now and this is by far the best. I was singing and dancing the whole show. Best of luck to you!
Wow, what a great story, Jenny. I felt like I was there with you! Very detailed and organized. Thanks for sharing your story! I can't wait to meet the band when they come to Indonesia. Hopefully soon! =)

I met the band at a meet and greet at Radio City Music Hall in NYC on 8/5/09... It was such a wonderful experience. I knew my time was limited so I had to use it wisely. I shook hands, got autographs, told them how awesome I thought they were, and I kissed them. I stroked Ben's beard! The group photo was taken next and I didn't really remember too much about it being taken because I just kissed all the guys and I was in a state of shock! All I remember is that I told Brandon that he should come over by me and he said that he would. After the photo was taken, he scooted over by me and I giggled and said his name and I put my arm around him and the second photo was taken. Of course that wasn't the photo that the organization chose to put on their website! These guys are so cool for having these meet and greets for their fans and their charities. They are such nice guys. I miss them already! Hopefully, there will be more meet and greets on future tours.... God bless these guys for all that they do!
