Meet the World
Ey people of the world '',
My name is Amanda, I am originally from the Netherlands but moved to South Africa when I was 8. I love nature, I try to surf (trust me, I suck but love the ocean) and have been playing guitar since I was a chicklet (about 5). I am going to travel the world with my aucustic in hand, and would dig to meet new people from all around.
I am not seen as very interesting by fellow students for the following reasons: I don't do heavy drinking, drugs or sniffing any sort of substance that relates to break fluid - any use of this would probably make me a "normal" person.
I keep my sanity through music, writing, being overly dominant, scaring the crap out of men, art and challenging people in arguments. My friends sometimes call me "garfield", and apart from my my saying being "love me, feed me and never leave me" and my obsession with lasange, I have no idea why they named me after the fat cat. But I am honoured. >;D
I love a person who knows where they stand in life, and do not like materialism, megalomaniacs, stereotypes or weak minded and typical people.
Weirdness attracts me, don't be afraid to accept yourself for who you are. I want to meet new people so, bring it on, introduce yourself. You never know... this might just be very interesting!

Hello Amanda!
My name is María, I'm from Maracay, Venezuela and I have lived here for the most part of my life. I also love nature, but I don't do any outdoor sports (If you suck at surf, I suck at pretty much every sport on the planet). I recently concluded my studies on Journalism, but I haven't got my degree yet. Meanwhile I work on a Marketing agency, proccesing data. My job is boring as hell, though it gives me time to chill and write to you hehehehe. I love the idea of travelling around the world living just by your music. I totally encourage and if I knew how to play an instrument I'd probably go for it. I love music, but I can't play anything (yet).
As a matter of fact I don't do heavy drinking, nor drugs! :D I respect people who does, but I feel proud of myself for not doing it. I'm trying to switch to a healtier and more friendly to the environment life style. That why I'm trying to become a veggie, but it's a little bit difficult, cuz I still live with my parents and they're meateaters till death. As well as you I try to stay away from materialism, megalomaniacs, stereotypes and lack of imagination people.
