Make Yourself Foundation (Incubus)

Anna Bowman

Do you think I'm over reacting, yay or nay?

yesterday, me and my mate Paul went on a snowy expedition to our local park. We've had quiet a lot of snow in the UK recently so we thought we'd make use of it. We took our sledge and had hours of (quite dangerous) fun. I took some photos of the park (trees, snow etc) on my phone, not really techincally brilliant photos but i was quite pleased with them. So i posted them on facebook and then tonight i've looked and my friend paul and some other random dude i barely know have saved them and posted them on their facebooks as their own photos!!!!!!

so i'm really annoyed right now!

would you feel the same if this happened to you? or would you be flattered? i think i would be flattered if they said it was taken by me in the photo discription, but they havent!!

grrrrrrrrrrr! Angry Anna.

x

(p.s. please dont steal my photos :'( )

Shame that's what we get for the world global community where you share everything and even too much...can't stand facebook anymore i think is unfair the way that info's can be shared and be taken in such a big communtity like facebook... so now i've been trying to add comments about volunteering and helping kids but no one reply, trying to see if someone care about some other message a part of people writing "i am having dinner with my friends" or " i'm sit on the toilet reading a magazine and playing with facebook phone"....but looks like that is what facebook is all about a lack of reality in this sick sad little world....lol....
An advice Anna if u like photos and like to share and maybe make some money out of it if u're good see website like fotolia.com....
Wish u a rocking day hugs

Thanks guys, don't really think my camera or my photography skills are good enough (yet) to make any money, but we'll see, maybe in the future :P x

I bet this happens a lot more often than people think. Not to flake out somewhere in the middle, but you should both be flattered & kinda angry.

I would go on the FB page where they put your pics & make a non-hostile comment: like "wow! those are great pics but they look vaguely familiar." don't get all huffy.

I was at one of those radio Xmas shows & realized I forgot my camera so I just nicely asked someone taking pics to email me a couple so I could FB & Yelp the show. But I made sure I mentioned her name for sure. good luck.

First-of-Its-Kind Map Details the Height of the Globe's Forests

ScienceDaily (July 21, 2010) — Using NASA satellite data, scientists have produced a first-of-its kind map that details the height of the world's forests. Although there are other local- and regional-scale forest canopy maps, the new map is the first that spans the entire globe based on one uniform method.

Climate bill in doubt as Democrats delay action

U.S. Senate Democrats said on Thursday they will wait until September at the earliest to take up broad climate-change legislation, a potentially fatal blow to the White House push to curb greenhouse gases. The delay means Democrats have little time to advance the complex legislation amid intense political pressure in the weeks before November congressional elections. It also could derail global climate change initiatives, as the world's major economies and greenhouse gas emitters insist the United States play a leading role.
