Do you think I'm over reacting, yay or nay?

yesterday, me and my mate Paul went on a snowy expedition to our local park. We've had quiet a lot of snow in the UK recently so we thought we'd make use of it. We took our sledge and had hours of (quite dangerous) fun. I took some photos of the park (trees, snow etc) on my phone, not really techincally brilliant photos but i was quite pleased with them. So i posted them on facebook and then tonight i've looked and my friend paul and some other random dude i barely know have saved them and posted them on their facebooks as their own photos!!!!!!

so i'm really annoyed right now!

would you feel the same if this happened to you? or would you be flattered? i think i would be flattered if they said it was taken by me in the photo discription, but they havent!!

grrrrrrrrrrr! Angry Anna.

x

(p.s. please dont steal my photos :'( )

Shame that's what we get for the world global community where you share everything and even too much...can't stand facebook anymore i think is unfair the way that info's can be shared and be taken in such a big communtity like facebook... so now i've been trying to add comments about volunteering and helping kids but no one reply, trying to see if someone care about some other message a part of people writing "i am having dinner with my friends" or " i'm sit on the toilet reading a magazine and playing with facebook phone"....but looks like that is what facebook is all about a lack of reality in this sick sad little world....lol....
An advice Anna if u like photos and like to share and maybe make some money out of it if u're good see website like fotolia.com....
Wish u a rocking day hugs

Thanks guys, don't really think my camera or my photography skills are good enough (yet) to make any money, but we'll see, maybe in the future :P x

I bet this happens a lot more often than people think. Not to flake out somewhere in the middle, but you should both be flattered & kinda angry.

I would go on the FB page where they put your pics & make a non-hostile comment: like "wow! those are great pics but they look vaguely familiar." don't get all huffy.

I was at one of those radio Xmas shows & realized I forgot my camera so I just nicely asked someone taking pics to email me a couple so I could FB & Yelp the show. But I made sure I mentioned her name for sure. good luck.

Wind Turbines might actually add to warming

A new paper suggests that wind turbines, installed broadly, might actually change the climate themselves just by disrupting the normal flow of the wind: In a paper published online Feb. 22 in Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics, [the MIT researchers] Wang and Prinn suggest that using wind turbines to meet 10 percent of global energy demand in 2100 could cause temperatures to rise by one degree Celsius in the regions on land where the wind farms are installed, including a smaller increase in areas beyond those regions. Global Trade’s Dirty Secret: Outsourced Emissions

The Carnegie Institution of Science released a new study this week finding that one-third of the carbon dioxide emissions developed countries release into the atmosphere result from goods and services produced outside their borders. The report’s details are troubling: Carnegie’s researchers estimate that 2.5 tons of CO2 per person are consumed in the United States but are produced elsewhere, and that figure spikes to 4 tons per European. Another point that will cause considerable disagreement among global climate negotiators is Carnegie’s analysis that one-quarter of the emissions in China are actually the result of its exports to its trading partners such as the United States.
